Dream Live Prosper is pleased to announce Angela Walker from DLP Property Management as “Team Member of the Month” for the month of July. Angela works out of DLP’s office in Holly Hill, Florida as a Trainer. Prior to her current role, Angela managed the Southeast region for DLP Property Management. During the year she was managing that region, she experienced exponential growth within the company. She challenged herself to make sure that employees in her region knew how to utilize DLP’s operating system, as well as follow policies and procedures. Throughout the process, she learned how to utilize a new operating system in an effort to provide her region with better assistance if any issues were to arise. All of her efforts helped her transition into her current role as a trainer. She now serves as a great resource to not only Property Management, but to the Accounting and Executive Team at DLP.
Our CEO, Don Wenner, comments, “We are very proud of Angela. She has done an amazing job in taking on leadership and she drives results very well.”
In response to her recognition, Angela says, “I feel ultimately humbled and shocked as it is just in my nature to want to help people! If I can help someone feel confident in their ability to get the job done (or solve a problem and take a pinch of stress away), then I have done something right in my book. I love being the Trainer for DLP Property Management and I constantly strive to be a trusted resource for all of my co-workers whenever they may need it.”
Angela won the vote as Team Player of the Month from Driven for Greatness members. Driven for Greatness is a personal development and growth group founded by DLP for its employees.
“GRIT is what gets me through my work and personal life on a daily basis. I owe my success to personal GRIT and a great leadership team,” says Angela. “I want to further develop and become the leader for the training department in Property Management. Training is a crucial part of setting people up for success right from the start. I believe being able to welcome a new member to the DLP family with scheduled training on key Property Management subjects will help them effectively operate day in and day out. Giving new team members a stable foundation to start off on is key (as well as providing stable support for existing employee) is critical to stay focused as a TEAM. The thought of future expansion in the training department is exciting to me and I look forward to setting goals in order to achieve this vision.”
