On March 6th, 2019, The Morning Call honored 45 of this year’s top employers in the small, midsize and large categories. DLP Real Estate Capital was proud to rank No.2 in the midsize category of the Top Workplaces in Lehigh Valley.

The Morning Call partnered with Energage, a Philadelphia area research company, to conduct surveys of Lehigh Valley companies. “Top Workplaces put the employee at the center of things, and focus on creating the right environment to unleash potential and inspire performance,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of Energage. The company has studied Top Workplaces over the past 13 years. They surveyed more than 20,000 employees to find out what drives culture in the Lehigh Valley. Their survey found that there are three main culture drivers in the Lehigh Valley.

Top culture drivers in the Lehigh Valley:

  • Potential – whether or not the company enables employees to work at their full potential
  • Direction – confidence in where you organization is headed
  • Appreciation –  the extent to which they feel appreciated

Amongst those surveyed, DLP received the highest ranking in the “Direction” category.

Amy Barricelli, VP of Leasing, Marketing and Revenue, came on board with DLP Real Estate Capital in 2017, and found that team members are given the same amount of attention and appreciation that customers and owners are given in traditional companies.
